The River Food Pantry

Welcoming 30,605 family visits in 2015, the River Food Pantry is Dane County's busiest food pantry. A group of Tau Bates drives over on Friday evenings throughout the semester to assist other volunteers in providing hot meals, groceries, clothing, and household items to local families who are struggling to make ends meet.

Saturday Science

Inspire the next generation of scientists by helping run a station at Saturday Science. This event occurs on the first Saturday of every month, lasting from 10am-12pm on the first floor of the Discovery Building and is designed to be a fun, interactive experience for all ages.

Arboretum Restoration

The UW-Madison Arboretum is a beautiful plot of land on campus dedicated to conservation and restoration ecology. Each fall and spring, TBP volunteers help with ecological restoration, gardening, and plant propagation to keep the flora flourishing.
